Instead of uploading scattered "Part 1, 2, 3" videos, group your past-question breakdowns for a course into a single playlist. Other lecturers can build their own playlist for the same course too — your playlist competes on the quality of your teaching, not just the course code.
The first video in every playlist is free for any student to watch. It's your shop window — students judge your teaching style from it before deciding whether to subscribe to the rest of your playlist. Make it count.
Upload, organise, and manage all your playlists from your dashboard. Track your engagement score, impression share, and playlist subscriber count as the month progresses.
Every playlist and profile has a Share button. Send your playlist link directly to students on your campus, in a WhatsApp group, or anywhere else — it opens straight into the app so they can watch your free preview immediately.
Engage directly with students following your playlists. Answer questions, clarify solutions, and support learning beyond the video itself.
Dropoud pays lecturers in two independent ways. You can earn from both at the same time.
Direct playlist subscriptions
You set the price for your own playlist. Every student who subscribes to it pays that price, and you earn from those subscriptions directly — no waiting for month-end.
Monthly compensation pool
On top of playlist sales, Dropoud tracks every lecturer's engagement score (impressions) monthly and shares out a company-funded pool based on your share of total impressions — even from free previews.
Stream 1 — Playlist subscriptions
40 × ₦500 = ₦20,000 direct to you
You keep full control of your price — a more popular playlist, or a higher price where demand supports it, means more direct revenue.
Stream 2 — Monthly compensation pool
150,000 ÷ 10,000,000 = 1.5% of total impressions
1.5% × ₦20,000,000 = ₦300,000 that month
Illustrative example only — the pool amount is set by Dropoud monthly and actual earnings depend on your share of total impressions. As a guide, an average active creator with around 30 in-demand videos typically earns roughly ₦100,000–₦200,000 per month from this stream alone.

A dedicated mobile app for recording and uploading past-question videos into your playlists — optional, and works alongside the Lecturers Web App.
Setting your playlist price
Playlist pricing is set entirely by you, the content owner, from the Lecturers Web App. There's no fixed platform rate — price it based on how much value your breakdown gives, how many videos are in it, and what similar playlists for the same course are charging.
There's no payment prompt for this inside the mobile app — students subscribe to your playlist from the Dropoud Web App, either by searching for it directly or by opening a link you shared with them.
Monitor your playlist subscriptions, engagement score, and combined earnings transparently from your dashboard on the Lecturers Web App, and withdraw your funds directly to your bank account.
